A Place to Remember, Connect, and Belong!!!
Come In. You’re Welcome Here.
At Royal Canadian Legion Branch #138, you’ll find a welcoming space where veterans are honoured, neighbours gather, and everyone in Minnedosa has a place.
In every community, there’s a need for connection—for a place to gather, to share stories, and to remember those who served.
When those spaces disappear, something important is lost. Traditions fade, stories go untold, and it becomes harder to feel connected to the people and history around us.
Many people don’t realize the Legion is open to them—and miss out on a place that could feel like home.

For decades, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #138 has quietly filled that role in Minnedosa.
We support veterans, active service members, and their families—but just as importantly, we serve the wider community.
The Legion is not just for those who served. It is a place for anyone looking to be part of something meaningful and local.

Getting involved is simple:
Where Minnedosa comes together

You do not need to be a veteran to belong here!
When fewer people take part, something important begins to fade...
Membership is open to anyone 18 or older who is a Canadian citizen or a citizen of an Allied nation.
And even if you’re not a member, you’re still welcome to attend events, stop in, and be part of the community.
If you choose to join, your membership directly supports veterans and helps keep this space thriving for everyone.
Community spaces grow quieter. Traditions are harder to sustain. The stories and sacrifices we gather to remember risk being seen less often and felt less deeply.
The Legion remains strong because people choose to be part of it.

Whether you come to remember, to connect, or simply to spend an evening with others—you’ll be welcome here.
