Welcome to the Minnedosa Legion Branch #138, the heart of the Minnedosa community. For decades, our Branch has stood as a sanctuary for veterans and a vibrant gathering place for the people of Minnedosa and the surrounding area.

Our Mission

Our primary mission is to serve veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our local community. We are more than just a club; we are a support system dedicated to those who have served our country.

Honoring Our Heroes

Minnedosa takes great pride in its heritage. Branch #138 is a key partner in local acts of remembrance, including:

• The Veteran Banner Program: Lining our streets with the faces of local heroes.

• The Poppy Blanket: A stunning tribute featuring over 4,600 hand-crocheted poppies draped over the cenotaph during the Remembrance period.

• Annual Ceremonies: Leading the community in reflection every November 11th

While our roots are in veteran support, our doors are open to everyone. The Legion is Minnedosa’s go-to spot for social connection and entertainment:

• Weekly Activities: Join us for our popular Bingo nights, featuring Loonie and Bonanza pots.

• Live Entertainment: From the Legion House Band to local performers, we provide a stage for regional talent.

• Hall Rentals: Our facility is a trusted venue for celebrations of life, weddings, and community meetings.

Any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation over the age of 18 is welcome to become a member. By joining Branch #138, you are directly supporting veteran programs and contributing to the prosperity of Minnedosa.
