On behalf of Zone 24 and Zone 25 Commands, tickets are now officially on sale for the Inaugural Royal Canadian Legion Veteran's Gala, taking place on Saturday, 19 September 2026, at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #003 in Brandon.

As a gesture of appreciation for those who have served and supported the Legion, ticket sales are being offered first to Veterans and Royal Canadian Legion members.

Beginning 1 August 2026, any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public.

Tickets are limited, and we fully expect this event to sell quickly, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

A Historic Evening

This black-tie Gala marks the beginning of the Royal Canadian Legion Centennial celebrations, Veterans' Week, while also commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Brandon Branch #003.

The evening has been created to:

• Honour a distinguished local Veteran

• Raise awareness of mental health challenges affecting Military members, Veterans, RCMP, and First Responders

• Bring our community together in a spirit of respect, remembrance, and fellowship

• Establish what we hope will become an annual tradition celebrating those who have served our country

Supporting Those Who Have Served—and Continue to Serve

Proceeds from the Gala will directly benefit:

• Project Resilience 911

• Paws 4 Valour

Both organizations provide free mental health, peer support, and recovery programs for Veterans, serving Military members, RCMP, First Responders, and their families.

A portion of the proceeds will also be reserved to ensure this Gala continues as an annual event for years to come.

Guest of Honour & Keynote Speaker

We are honoured to welcome Brigadier-General J.S. Davis, CD, Deputy Commander Force Generation, 1 Canadian Air Division, as our Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker.

A distinguished Royal Canadian Air Force leader, Brigadier-General Davis has served Canada in numerous operational, command, and senior leadership roles throughout his career, including deployments on Operations APOLLO and ATHENA. His inspiring journey of service, leadership, and dedication to the Canadian Armed Forces will make this a memorable and meaningful evening for all in attendance.

Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring:

• A full-course formal dinner

• Live entertainment and dancing

• Fellowship with Veterans, serving members, community leaders, and supporters

• An evening dedicated to honouring those who have served Canada

Legion members are welcome to wear their Legion Dress Uniform with bow tie.
