Service Summary

Norman Earl Dow enlisted in 1941 at age 17 with the Royal Canadian Artillery. He trained across Canada before deploying overseas in 1942.

Wartime Experience

Norman served in anti-aircraft roles throughout England and later in Europe, where he was wounded in 1945.

He re-enlisted in 1950 and served in Korea with the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, participating in active combat operations.

Post-Service Life

After returning home, Norman worked in mining and remained active in community service and Legion activities.
